ReNew Women’s Retreat

Retreat Speaker: Susanne Cox is an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God. She has served as General Presbyter for the Southeast Region as well as on the National “Women in Leadership” Committee for the Assemblies of God. Her life experiences have uniquely positioned her to minister hope and encouragement to others. After many years of addiction to drugs and alcohol, she experienced a miraculous salvation at age 31 which radically transformed her life and gave her a great hunger for God and a desire to serve the Lord.
Susanne passionately challenges and inspires her audience to be transformed by the Word of God and fulfilled their divine destiny. Her unique blend of humor and honesty is refreshing and appealing to all generations.

Susanne served as a missionary to Sri Lanka and India with a Teen Challenge Ministry. During her last overseas assignment in India she helped establish New Hope Charitable Society, which rescues and restores abandoned women and children. Our heart’s desire is to bring God’s restoration to those victimized by extreme poverty, sex trafficking, neglect, and abuse.

Susanne is married to Pastor Ron Cox of Kingwood Church in suburban Birmingham, Alabama. They currently minister in churches, leadership seminars, marriage encounters, and women’s conferences around the country. The couple founded Legacy of Purpose ministry of Kingwood Church, which empowers the Coxes to invest themselves heavily in missions work and evangelism in India and abroad, focusing on the development of safe houses and youth discipleship ministries.
Pastor Ron and Susanne continue to reside in Alabaster, Alabama, as their children carry the legacy of Kingwood Church. A book has been written on the story of their life, Call It Incredible, and is available on their website, www.legacyofpurpose.org
